The service officers and other staff are paid civil service employees working for the county government with a dotted line up to the governor’s cabinet level position – Ohio Department of Veterans Services. This can be a source of emergency financial assistance for veterans.

The best way to request help is to send an email to the following address, providing contact information and a brief description of the issue. Help with VA issues is a common request topic, but they support other types of veteran related requests too.
